Ages 7 to 17
Orthodontics for kids and teens
A first check around age 7, gentle early treatment if it's needed, and braces or aligners in the teen years, with appointments outside school hours.

Why an early check at age 7?
By age 7 most children have a mix of baby and adult teeth, which lets an orthodontist spot crossbites, crowding and jaw-growth problems early. Most children don't need treatment yet, and we simply monitor them for free until the time is right.
When early (Phase 1) treatment is needed, it can widen a narrow upper jaw, correct a crossbite or make room for adult teeth, often making later treatment shorter and simpler.
